Just WOW. The experience that I had with EDC Design Build was absolutely astounding. From Day 1 to completion Shawn and the team were open to all the ideas (and changes) that my wife and I had from the design stage to the working around existing landscape. Our project was being completed at the same time as other project in our backyard which can always be a little tricky, but the site was always clean and livable during the process which is a huge plus during the summer and fall months. The team was always responsive and completed the work within our deadline. The final product turned out beautiful and more than we could have dreamed of and added so much more living space to our backyard! This is something that my family will be able to enjoy for many years to come and would highly recommend EDC Design Build for any projects that you may be thinking of in the near future!
EDC Homes built our home in 2017 and our dream really did become a reality! The beautiful craftmanship and finishes are gorgeous! The building process was seamless and made our experience so positive. We couldn't be happier with our new home and thank EDC for making it happen! When we met Shawn, the owner of EDC Homes we were just coming to the realization that our home was destroyed by fire and heavy smoke damage. Shawn assured us if we hired him we could trust him to do a great job. And he was so right. You kept us informed through out the entire rebuild. You answered any questions and made all the necessary changes as the job progressed. Your personal touch and caring for our home was more than we could have asked for. We bought our home in early 2023 and had a problem with the master shower cracking, it ended up being a manufacturer defect. EDC Homes made several attempts to fix it and the cracks continued to form. I spoke with Nick Jacovides, the president of EDC Homes, and he completely replaced the acrylic shower with a tile shower. The entire EDC Team: Nick, Vince, Monica, Raul, Tommy (Pelican Bay Plumbing), and Cleon (Ceramic Marble Beyond) went above and beyond expectations. EDC Homes builds quality homes and stands behind their craftsmanship!
A big thank you to the entire EDC Homes team for our new pool house with bath and full kitchen. It is the centerpiece of our backyard haven! EDC's creativity, craftsmanship, industry experience, and professionalism are unmatched! This custom build required significant coordination and planning with the homeowners and Virginia Beach Patios for the integrated hardscaping. EDC went above and beyond throughout the entire process to ensure we were satisfied with every aspect of our new addition. Their customer service and quality of work was 5 stars! A personal thank you to our project manager, Shawn Skiff, and the rest of the EDC team for making our backyard dream a reality.
