The entire whole-house solar installation experience with Solar Services was seamless and excellent from start to finish. Will, Anthony (sorry if I got your name wrong!) and the front office staff kept us informed and updated every step of the way, and Thomas and his engineering crew completed the site visit and installation on schedule and without a hitch. The permitting and final approvals to connect to the grid, all handled by Solar Services, went much quicker than I expected, a pleasant surprise. Our system has been online for a couple of weeks now, works as advertised and is saving us a ton on our electric bill! I highly recommend Solar Services to anyone considering going solar (and highly recommend going solar to anyone).

Solar Services updated our inverter & batteries. The new Eg4 inverter & Lux Power lithium ion battery system is more capable than our previous system by orders of magnitude. The realtime displays remove any guesswork from deciphering how much solar you're producing, and what the house is consuming at any given time. Solar Services maintained good communication, workers were professional and highly focused. The biggest selling point to me was that Solar Services was great about ensuring I had a solid working knowledge of exactly how the system operates. In the past, other local solar contractors installed panels & inverters that did not meet expectation, failed to explain system operation, did not supply user manuals (installer's manuals & schematics are of little use to the homeowner) and did not respond to requests to explain system operation. Solar Services did a great job of all that, and be warned, some of these local solar installers Do Not. Solar Services are there for the install, and will be there for technical support. Some outfits effectively disappear after the check is cashed and you are left on completely on your own. Be aware of that.

We just had our solar panels washed and a bad inverter replaced. The guys did fast work, and we have doubled our solar production after the fix. I highly recommend this business for your solar needs!

We were extremely pleased with the quality of Solar Services work. They installed a solar system with 32 panels, and an electric vehicle charger. The installation team, led by Thomas and Adam, were very efficient, installing the solar system in just one day. Thomas and Adam returned to install the charger in less than a day. Arthur oversaw the project and was a very effective liaison when questions arose. Then Will was extremely helpful in getting our solar credits (SRECs) set up. We interviewed two companies and picked Solar Services because they were recommended by friends for quality work and attentive customer service, including willingness to travel here to the Eastern Shore when needed. Indeed, the Accomack County Building Department was also very complimentary of the quality of Solar Services work. We highly recommend them to our Eastern Shore neighbors.
